Section Leader, Site Investigations

back to our team

dan berrimanDan obtained his HND in Geological Technology and then the degree in Physical Geography with Geology from the University of Luton.

After a brief period with a site investigation firm in Ireland, gaining valuable experience in geotechnical field testing, sampling and core logging, he joined Cornwall Consultants in 1997. Moving from mine searches to Site Investigations, he now heads up that section. As well as carrying out trenching and drilling projects, he works alongside the contamination section in areas such as geotechnical studies and water permeability.

During his time with the company, he has amassed a wide knowledge covering aspects of subsidence risk appraisal, designing and implementing investigation procedures and liasing with engineers, architects and clients on remediation schemes.

His major interests are typically Cornish, involving lifesaving and surfing, but more recently snowboarding has been added.
